Moby Base Cabinet

Don’t be fooled. This is Lego for adults. You’ll cry, you’ll swear, you’ll break a piece or two of this kit because it’s so confusing, but at the end of the day you’ll be glad of the experience and sad when it’s said and done. I’ve never had to built such a complicated piece of furniture in all my life, but my sense of accomplishment at the end is something truly amazing. The pieces don’t all fit well, the instructions are rubbish and confusing, and you will have leftover pieces that only Keter knows where it goes, but if you enjoy building things and a challenge, this is for you. The cupboard itself is perfect as a small storage unit in a garage. It’s not massive, but has two shelves enough for a few tools or in a garden shed. It even comes with two different handle colours; silver, and if you are feeling bold, lime green. I hated and loved every minute to build this. You are looking at around 1.5hrs assembly time (it does NOT come pre-assembled, by the way). My favourite part was having to put screws straight through the plastic. I absolutely loved the “ah f*** it” attitude by the designers. Just bear in mind that the assembly is a one way street. You are never taking this thing apart ever again. I highly recommend this as a weekend project. I had a blast! PS: Ladies, this is a serious contender for Father’s Day and birthday gifts.
