Come weekend and it’s time to reorganize the home again. Move this bed there and shift that table here – reorganization is fun, and it’s like living in an altogether new home. If you’re anything like us and feel the same about reorganization, here are some creative ideas to give a new look to your old home.

CREATE MORE SPACE IN YOUR BATHROOM

Organize your bathroom by adding a small hanging clothes organizer and dividing your drawer into different sections. You can also utilize the space above the bathroom closet. Use that area to keep the extra towels, rolls of toilet paper, and miscellaneous objects. Also, make sure to use natural lighting for energy efficiency.

DESIGN A BIKE RACK UNDER THE STAIRS

There is a lot of space under the stairs which often goes neglected. You can use this space to park your bicycles. This way, while things stay organized, your home will look fancy.

    ORGANIZE YOUR LAUNDRY ROOM

Install a rack in your laundry room and replace the plastic detergent jars with glass ones. You can even install a nice little holding place for your iron. A little board will help you pin notes or instructions. This will give a neat look to the laundry area.

    INSTALL A NEW WARDROBE

Install a wardrobe frame with separate sections. With different segments, you can hang more clothes and have distinct space for your shoes and bags. Include a couple of drawers and you’ve got a neat little area to keep your accessories, such as watches etc.

    EXTRA CABINETS IN THE KITCHEN

The space above the fridge is generally gone wasted. It would take some extra time, but installing additional cabinets above your fridge will give you more space in your kitchen. You can also install the oven on the wall instead of putting it on the kitchen slab.

The ideas we discussed above are simple and easy, and can add a lot of extra space to your home. Try them and let us know how they worked out.
